...Oh Wow ... Isn't that a mouth full!
I am super thrilled to be in on this and creating a receiving a little bundle of love
from the StencilGirl team was a huge thrill.
The squares in the set that came to me were created by
ummm ... what a thrill to have art from these guys in my hands!
So what do I do with it all? Art Journal of course!
Before starting, I took the print on the deli paper and adhered it to some white card
to give it some stability for my page.
I started off using the 9x12 from the Stencil Club, The Floral Facets stencil collection by Carol Wiebe
and used it with light modeling paste on the white & hessian background.
Once dry, I used a range of blue & purple paints to cover the background before
adding splatters of Hydrangea Blue Lindys Gang Spray.

Now came the hard bit ... I cut up those gorgeous little bits of artwork to create a cityscape .... aaahhhh I totally didn't want to cut them up ... they are soooo pretty... but its all part of the process.
I love that all the colours look fantastic on the navy blue background.
This Art Journal page is so easy to recreate and can look really effective!
