WHO IS NATALIE MAY?

A little about myself …

I am an established Paperarts teacher here in Australia and have now been teaching
in this industry for coming up to ten years.
Over the last 10 years, I have been teaching between 10-15 classes a month at Seriously Scrapbooking here in Adelaide plus regularly interstate and overseas.  I have also taught in New Zealand alongside Paula Cheney, Frank Garcia, Nic Howard and Vicki Boutin plus more recently with  Aida Domisiewicz and Gerry VanGent

Here in Australia, I have been lucky enough to be a Guest Artist in Melbourne at the PaperArts fair, the Stitches & Craft Fair here in Adelaide and have taught at the Brisbane Scrapbook & Papercraft expo last year and will again this year. I have taught at numerous stores in Queensland and Western Australia, joined Alison Bevis in teaching on her Workshop Wonders Cruise last year plus have another cruise planned for November 2017, have taught at over 6 retreats and craft weekends plus I was a  2016 Scrapbooking Memories Master.
I also work alongside Fiona Paltridge here in Australia with our FN Workshops events.
It has been a busy few years!  But in saying that, I love to teach – I wouldn’t have it any other way!

One of the things that keeps me interested and teaching is that I love to create in all styles.  As much as this industry likes to ‘Pigeon Hole’ people, I believe I am a versatile artist – I regularly teach not only scrapbooking layouts but also Cards, Mixed Media Layouts, Paper based Layouts, Vintage & Ancestry Layouts, Beginners scrapbooking & card classes, Big Shot classes, Art Journaling, Abstract Canvas Art, Copic Beginners Classes plus Kids classes, Birthday parties and whatever else I can come up with.
As an Educator for Lindy Stamp Gang, I especially love to create with their products and educate people about mediums, textures and general products.
Working in a Scrapbook Shop has given me an extensive range of product knowledge and enabled me to be able to work with customers and clients who require help on family history through to wedding invitations.

I absolutely love what I do and believe that it shows when I teach as well ... Everything about this industry makes me soul shine.
