Hey there Gang!
So you know how I LOVE to teach classes and share the crafty love around?
Well today I am sharing with you a class that I taught a little while ago at the biggest Scrapbooking and Papercraft event here in Australia!

This page is suitable for all levels of crafter and can easily be adapted to go with most paper collections. I used the gorgeous ‘Until Dawn’ paper collection from 13@rts.
Take ‘Days & Nights’ paper and cut in half at 6 inches. Trim both pieces back to be 11.75″ and then tape as shown onto white cardstock.
OPTION … if you have access to a sewing machine, stitch all the way around the edges. Now cover the papers in a thin coat of clear Gesso and dry. This seals the paper so we can add color. Using white Gesso, use a palette knife to apply it over a stencil as shown then dry.

Starting with a generous wash of Tainted Love Teal, add it to the background using a brush – dab it on rather than brushing it on so you don’t get brush strokes.
Once dry, add Aloha Avocado in spots and then add a few splatters of Screaming Banshee Black for depth.
While you are adding color, use a brush to color your chipboard and pop aside to dry.
Cut 2 pieces of ‘Cold Day’ paper to be 4.5 x 4 inches and a piece of ‘Sending Flowers’ to be 3×5 inches. Stick down as shown foam mounting the navy blue piece. In the little shot glass, make a thick wash of white gesso & water and dip the string in it. Pull it out squeezing it between some paper towel to take the excess paint off, mold it into a circle about 6 inches across and pop aside to dry. Once dry, staple down to the papers as shown and add some white cotton in and around it.

Fussy cut all the elements from the ‘All The Good Things’ paper and ink in charcoal or black ink. Cut the flower bunch in half as shown and tuck one half in the top and the other in the bottom
Use a combination of foam tape and glue to adhere the cut out elements down around your photos. I used two photos cut down to be 3.5 inches x 3.5 inches and foam mounted them to the page
I finished the project off with Dimensional Magic/Glossy Accents to give it a shiny effect
