I love these new Maya Road mini trees - so very cute.

Also, here is another sneak peek of the "Scrap Your Mum" class on the 14th of April.

I scrapped a page today for upcoming April Scrapjack but I think I might make it a class in May as I adore this page. Here is a sneak peek................

This would have to be one of my all time favourite photos of Jessica.

This was taken around May 2004 - Nearly 1 year old.

Hi there people

Apologies for not updating for a few days.

DRAMA DRAMA DRAMA!!

To cut a long story short .... Miss Jess was drawing a picture on Tuesday nite - about 5.30pm - for Aunty Lee when she sharpened her pencil and then for some unknown reason, blew into her pencil sharpener. All of the wood and lead shavings flew up into her face and into her eyes. Straight away she rubbed her eyes, we rushed her down to the bathroom and irrigated them immediately but the damage was done.

After 2 hours of hysterical crying, off to Flinders Emergency Hospital. (dont ask me why we waited 2 hours!!!) The doctors gave her a dose a Panadol - which put her to sleeps straight away - it was 8pm by this stage. So when the doctor finally got in to look at her at 9.30pm, we had to wake her up - not a happy camper at all. All the wood shards were gone but the rubbing of her eye had caused a large ulcer on her cornea - the black bit! Medication straight in to avoid infection and a patch on! My poor baby. :(

They made an appointment for Wednesday morning for the eye clinic which was a total waste of time as we waited 4 hours for the specialist to tell us the keep up with the antibiotics every 4 hours and keep her out of school.

Anyways...... she has a very puffy and red bloodshot eye but is doing rather well. It does not seem to have affected her vision but she is still quite flat.

Who would believe it. Both of us having eye problems in the same month - same eye, same doctors, same specialists - unreal.

Other than that - the shop newsletter is out. So many amazing classes coming up. Even I have booked into a couple of Janes and I'm going to do a couple of Stephs too!

Today I hope to finish the Mother's Day Memo Board and the "Scrap Your Mum" page so stay tuned for sneak peeks!

Today I found a program that allows me to convert my handwriting into a usable computer font!

I had soooo much fun with it.....and here is a sample

Anyway .. the eye is better - still have slightly blurred vision but mych better than it was and I have been scrapping!

I did this page today from a Valerie Salmon sketch. Really easy to do and I love how it turned out. You cant really tell but the lettering is inked in Rocket Red Gold with a coat of silver Glimmermist - looks great in real life!

a
Decided last night that being lazy in front of the TV was not good enough and that I had to scrap!

So here is a page I did for Aussie Scrapjack and One Little Aussie Word!

Monday, March 9, 2009

OK people - I could do with some "good healthy vibes" to come my way please.

My eye is getting so much better - I now have 90% vision but there are still a nice little collection of blood clots floating around - I am a little bit over it at the moment. I went and saw the surgeon on Friday and she said the tear is healing well and within a month or three I should have 100% vision back! So fingers crossed.

Friday night, Jessica had a birthday party to go to over at Marion Shopping Center. Trev and I dropped her off then took the opportunity to get a bite to eat. We went to a nice Thai restaurant and had a beautiful meal. Got home about 8pm, put Jess to bed then it started - the stomach pain, the horrendous grumbling then............sorry to say it but the diarrhea. Excellent. So today being Monday, my belly is still not great but I will not be eating at Casaurina Thai again!

Quiet day Saturday at home with Jess - spent the day watching DVDs and in the afternoon, Miss Jess did a challenge for Aussie Scrapjack. Here is a sneak peek because she is a guest scrapper and cant show you until next month - lets just say I am SUPER PROUD of my little girl.

While I am on the sneak peeks, here is a sneaky of my class on the 19th March at 7pm and the single page that I am doing for the COFFEE, CAKE AND CREATE on Saturday March 28th.

What else?????? Had a Tupperware party here yesterday. That was great. Trev is on night shift again so back to being super queit around the house during the day so he can sleep.

Well, it's a public holiday here today so I should go and make the most of it!

Stay Safe
