It's my turn to post over at Sassy Scrapper today ......
So I have dabbled in something a little different this week.
I have been really enjoying playing with masks and Sassy has a great range in the shop .
This unusual layout has been created using hessian as a background .
I used a mask from The Crafters Workshop , placed it over the top and sponged on some gesso.
When you do this, make sure you have some scrap paper under the hessian as the gesso will seep thru.
I used this gorgeous template.
While
that was drying, I used the 6x6 starburst mask and placed it over the
Pink Paislee Mistable borders and used Mister Hueys mist in Pinstripe to
create a pattern.
Once everything was dry, using the sewing machine, I adhered it to some black cardstock.
I'm really happy with the result and love the look of something different in my album.
And
finally, Happydaks has a Birthday party to go to this weekend so I
whipped up a quick and easy card using more bits from Studio Calico and
Hambly!
Again ... simple and effective works well!
