Back to the 5 ....

So to continue on with the Top 5 theme....

Here are my Top 5 shows to watch on Australian TV ...

Son Of Anarchy
The second season has just started here and this show ticks all the right boxes for me. It's quite violent, politically incorrect and touches on subjects that are not exactly mainstream but it has such a raw energy that draws me to it each week. The cast is outstanding - Katey Sagal is brilliant and worth watching alone.
"Sons of Anarchy is an adrenalized drama with darkly comedic undertones that explores a notorious outlaw motorcycle club’s (MC) desire to protect its livelihood while ensuring that there simple, sheltered town of Charming, California remains exactly that, Charming. The MC must confront threats from drug dealers, corporate developers, and overzealous law officers. Behind the MC’s familial lifestyle and legally thriving automotive shop is a ruthless and illegally thriving arms business. The seduction of money, power, and blood."

Wilfred

I love a good laugh and I have a pretty stupid sense of humor. This show makes me laugh like nothing else! "Everyone else sees Wilfred as just a dog, but Ryan sees a crude and somewhat surly, yet irrepressibly brave and honest, Australian bloke in a cheap dog suit." Up until recently it was filmed here in Australia cut has recently been bought out by the states and is funnier than ever. Elijah Wood does a great job in this and Jason Gann who plays Wilfred cracks me up!

Greys Anatomy
I love a good hospital drama. Now that ER is gone, GA is my doctor fix! Who can go past McDreamy & McSteamy??? Good story line, great cast - love it!

Offspring
Another hospital type drama but this one is pure Australian. I love that I watch this and can relate to more than one character or see my friends in some of these roles! Asher Keddie is just gorgous in the main role and the rest of the cast do a stellar job as well - funny & easy to watch.

And last but not least ...

Survivor
I am a sucker for reality TV but this is my number one! I have watched every episode shown here is Australia and love watching how people adapt and cope in these surroundings. I know that there is no way on Gods green earth that I could do it - I love my bed and hair straightener too much - but I admire these people for giving it a go!

So ... That's my Top 5!
