To me, an art journal is a way of expressing my ideas, thoughts and experimenting in different forms of media. I made a start on a few A4 pages which I will eventually bind into book form. At the moment, they are a little raw and possibly unfinished but I thought I'd share anyway. Some of them are a little 'curly' due to the amount of media on the paper but I think you'll get the idea!
Last Saturday afternoon I had the absolute pleasure of sitting in on a class at the shop taught by our one and only Louise Nelson. Thanks to Louise, my eyes have totally opened up over the last 2 years. She has pushed and pulled, hugged and encouraged me and supported me in every aspect of my career and I am learning sooo much from her. To be able to have such an amazing friend is a real blessing. {{{mushy stuff over}}}... anyway, we created this page during the class and I lurve it! Note the personally designed Imaginarium Design Chipboard!!!!
And finally, here is a sneak peek of the Scrap The Boys class that I am teaching on Thursday March 3rd at 7pm!
Oh and in other news .... I'll be doing a few teaching spots at the Scrapbook and Papercraft Expo in Brisbane on the June long weekend! I am SUPER excited about this.
Thanks for stopping by and leave me some love so I know who's been popping by!
What do you think of the art journal idea? Let me know.
