HELP!!!!!

Most of you know that I have been teaching an ongoing handwriting class. The final part of the class was to create your own handwriting font! I've done it heaps! Well, the site I have used in the past is now charging $10 per font!!!!!~ Not free! AHHHHHHHH

So can anyone point me in the direction of a web page where I can upload 30+ scans to turn into fonts???? FREE????

Hi there

On Thursday night I taught a class using the super cute BoBunny Cascade Album and 3 Bugs in a Rug papers. Everyone did slightly different albums and they all look gorgeous. My album is documenting Jessica at age 6 and all her little habits, likes and dislikes! The papers are so great - not much needs to be done for the embellishing! I used Dimensional Magic/Glossy Accents to enhance to details on the patterned paper rather than adding rub ons, flowers or other bits and pieces! The results are great.Close Ups!

Another Journal page!

Jess had dress up day at school yesterday and I could not resist scrapping the photos!

I am really looling forward to today's Journaling class that I am teaching. Cant wait to get in there!

Have a safe weekend!

Well I seem to be close to 100% again. A little short of breath but regular chiro visits seems to be fixing that!

I just want to show off my 7 month old nephew Jackson - he is so very cute.

Coming out shortly is the next Kaiser magazine and guess who has a layout in it!!!!!! Look close! It's a little small!
What else has been happening????
Made a couple of cards.... this one is for Great Pop (design courtesy of Heather)
and this one is for a friend of mine who I cant wait to see tomorrow. I am off to a girls lunch and I am so looking forward to it!

Here is a page I did last night to use as an example for my journaling class on Saturday. I have enjoyed doing these journal heavy layouts so much lately and I am finding they are coming to me really easy! In fact.... keep an eye out for another one very soon! :) I have used the Fancy Pants Kraft Cuts, Websters 6x6 papers, Heidi Swapp Invisibles and some super cute foam roses I found at Spotlight this week (of course they are smothered in Glimmermist!)

So here is another LO! Decided to do one about our home! Another sample for the journal class on Saturday!
Oh and in some personal news - I've now lost nearly 5kg in 5 weeks! yay me! (FYI - it's not easy for me to loose weight to this is massive for me!) Nearly back in size 14 jeans! woo hoo

Dont forget to leave a message to let me know who is popping by!

Apologies.

I have been a lazy blogger again. :)

Last Friday we hit the Royal Adelaide Show. Had an awesome day and love every minute of the show. The colour, the people, the sideshows, the sounds – love it all. This year I entered in 4 categories in the Arts and Crafts section but only won a 3rd prize for my Christmas Mini Album. I guess I am pretty happy with that but there were some entries that were a little unusual this year. Anyway….here are a few pics from the show and some of my show entries.

Show entries

Saturday was the All Day Scrap at the shop. We do it once a year as it’s such a big event to organise. This year we hired the church hall across the road and had 58 ladies join us! What an awesome day. First project was a Collections name tag, then Heather did a Fathers Day Card, after morning tea, Steph Devlin did a beautiful page then after lunch I did my boy page followed by Janes mini book. Lots of happy ladies, lots of prizes and giveaways and so much fun.

The wonderful Steph Devlin and I

Julie and Meg did an awesome job with the morning tea and lunch

Sunday was Fathers Day. Trev had a relaxing day bumming around the house. Kept it pretty quiet.

Back to the shop Monday to work, class Monday night and the yesterday drama….

Since Saturday I have been having problems catching my breath. Honestly didn’t think much of it but after walking 20 meters I have to stop and rest and have trouble breathing. So I took myself off to the GP yesterday who promptly told me to get myself to the emergency as soon as I could because she thinks it is a clot in my lungs! PANIC! So Trev and I toddle off to Ashford where I spent the day laying in the ER having test after test, scan after scan, cat scan, X-Rays and blood tests only to be told at 2.30pm that they could not find anything wrong and to go home! Great! So I still have shortness of breath but not sure why. Back to my GP on Friday and also the Chiro so hopefully they will get to the bottom of this but in the meantime, I am exhausted and lethargic and still having trouble breathing!

So that was yesterday!

And finally, here are the 3 pages I taught on Monday night!
