What an amazing week.

Check out what fabulous little gift I received this morning. The amazingly talented Tracey made this necklace for me. I sooo love it. Trace is the lady who made that beautiful dress for Jessica a couple of months ago. This is just beautiful. So - Trace - you are a very generous woman. Thanks babe.

Today I taught this class - Doodling! So much fun and so very simple!

And finally, here is a sneak peek of the next handwriting class! Ladies, please bring a photo for this one! Any size is fine!

This is my August Aussie Scrapjack.
This month we had to jack either Ann Lederhose or Stacey Young. I love both of their styles so started out jacking Ann.

I have wanted to do a page like this for such a long time and I'm thrilled with how it came out.
Unfortunately due to the super horrible weather here in Adelaide at the moment, it didn't photograph very well but you get the drift.

New blog design.....what do you think?

So I am busy doing a million things at the moment.

Today - if I can get motivated - I'll be doing the next page maps class for next month and maybe creating something special for a friend of mine.
I am also in the process of coming up with classes for the next 3 months! Any ideas???? No...me neither :)

Here is another page I did on the scrappy weekend!

White bazzill, all of my odd and old alphas which I stuck down with Pritt then painted with Kaiser paint then added Glimmermist! It looks great in real life!
And another one using the Collections chipboard and lots of Glimmermist!
Thanks to Sonia for the chipboard - love them!

Well - this is not getting me anywhere so stay safe and thanks for stopping by!

And I would love some feedback on the new blog style!

What a fabbo weekend!

Saturday afternoon was my second ground of the Handwriting class - which went rather well and yesterday was the SA Scrapbooking and Stamping show at the showgrounds! I have never served so many people! We had a smallish stand set up selling Graphic 45 papers, albums, Distress Ink, Prima Flowers, Glimmermist plus a few other bits and we did not stop all day! Sold A LOT of stuff and I had so much fun. Meeting new people, cathing up with lots of ladies who have been into the shop and just watching fellow scrappers in their element!

Here are a couple more pages to show.....

This page is of my close friend Jo. I have used Glimmermist (shock horror), Heidi Swapp Invisibles, Prima, Collections and my Cuttlebug machine!
This next page was for a challenge where we had to use..................... toilet paper on a layout! What do we think????

Morning

Last nights Handwriting class went well I think. I left feeling mildly confident that the girls learnt something new! :)

Here are a few more layouts from my scrappy weekend!

Sunday, August 9, 2009

Had a super quiet weekend in this house. No classes, no shop, Trev not working, no kids parties, nothing! BLISS. Went to IKEA and spent the voucher the girls gave us and finally upgraded our bedroom side tables that my mum gave me for my 18th birthday.

More layouts to show from our scrappy weekend.........

So let me tell you about these pages.

This is a Louise inspired page using Scrapware, Stuff2 Scrap and Glimmermist!
I was aiming for simple and colour.

This page uses Cosmo Cricket - one of my fav papers at the moment.

Monday night is the first class of my Handwriting class....... wish me luck, I'm a little nervous about this one.

Hi there

Here is the page we did in the shop last night.

Lots of Glimmermist and the new Kaiser papers. I used Scrapware alphas for the title and RW Laser cuts for the flourishes.

And another page I did over the weekend.

Good morning

Here is a sneak peek of the "Scrap The Girls" class on Thursday 13th August. Call the shop to book in! 8277 1298

Also, here is the first of the pages I did over the weekend.
This page was for a challenge where we had to do something based on the singer PINK, her music or her style. I decided to go a bit grungy and keep the colours simple. The title is one of her songs.

This page was inspired by Catherine who spent the weekend with me. Cat did an almost identical page and I LOVED it so decided to "scraplift" her! I used RW Lasercuts and Scenic Route paper.
