Some older Pages --- again

All the scrapping I have been doing lately I cant show just yet so here are a few older pages that I did early last year!

Sorry about the crappy photos but they were photographed quite a while ago!

Not much else happening.

Friday was my last day at fivestarprint working the front desk! So I took myself off to the pub after work and got well and truly smashed! My wonderful boss Carolyn then took Trevor and I back to her place for a few more drinks which was wonderful! I'm gonna miss working with them. I'll be out the factory in the bindery for the rest of the year but I really enjoy working so close to them - Oh well - build a bridge! :)

Battle Of The Scrappers

Hi Natalie,
Thanks again for entering Australia's first BOTS competition. As you would have no doubt seen in today's gallery, we have had many fabulous entries for our First Round. Judging has been extremely difficult and we regret that not everyone can progress into the next round.
However,
we are thrilled to inform you that you have been successful in progressing into the second round, the details of which will be announced in the next 24 hours. Good luck with the rest of the competition!
The 3AS team

3 Angels Scrapping have launched the Battle Of The Scrappers Competition and I made it through to the next round!! YAY.

The brief was ....

Round 1
You are about to be banished to a deserted island. You are allowed to take with you:
one photo only (what one photo is dearest to you?)
cardstock
no more than three pieces of patterned paper
one set of alphas
one sheet of rub-ons
one length of ribbon
no more than seven embellishments (eg. buttons, flowers etc)

You are also allowed to pack your usual supplies of scrap gear (scissors, cutter, glue stick, double-sided tape, ruler, pencil, pens) and please don't forget to pack togs, a towel and toiletries.

This is my entry.

So I cant wait to see what the next round has to offer!!! Wish me luck!

Challenge

Afternoon

I really should have been doing something more productive but I did this page today for a challenge. I had to use material, bling, circles and flourishes! Pretty happy with the end result!
What do you think???

Catch Up time ...

Hey -quick catch up.

Haven't been up to much since last week.

Had a class on Saturday at the shop which was great. 6 were booked in but only 4 arrived - must be this cold weather keeping the people away.

Saturday night my niece Melinda came for a sleep over! Now I know why I have one child and not two! What noise!!! Squealing 5 year olds!!! Not my cup of tea personally!

Sunday was the Morphettville Scrapbooking fair. Wendy, Cheryl and I went about 9.30am and had a ball. The girls spent more than me but on the other hand there is not much I need at the moment. I did find a pack of chippy butterflies and Maya Road Sheer Ribbon that were perfect for the Bonscraps ATC swap. (see below).

The ATC (artist trading card) swap is soo much fun. I created 9 almost identical cards and I'll recieve 9 back from different scrappers! With mine, I inked it first in Dark Peoney Chalk Ink then painted it in Pink Taffy Glimmermist, stamped it with the Autunm Leaves flourish using Perfect Meduim, sprinkled with embossing power, heated and done! How great does it look! I really impressed myself!

What else has been going on????? We bought a new car last week! The old grey skyline was on it's last legs and a young guy came and gave us $1000 for it so we took it! Wednesday Trev and I jumped in the car and must have walked thru 40 car yards across Adelaide. Not much fun when you have a budget and have to have an auto too! Anyways ... eventually came across a 96' Holden Barina with lowish kms for the right money so that was great. Sold!! So now Trev is driving to work a cute white 2 door girly car!!! Well, I think it's funny anyway! But most importantly it will save us heaps in petrol as it's only little and took a whole $40 to filll up the tank!

Jessica is good. Has developed an attitude since starting school! Rather amusing actually as I see myself in her more now than ever! :)

Had drinks with a very good friend of mine Friday at the HWY.. Love Sarah to bits and wish I could spend more time with her. Love you baby.

Other than that, nearly finished another little album today. Will post a sneak peek soon!

These pages are using the K&Company Belle & Sola $10 Value Pack from Click N Scrap! Great Papers and HEAPS in the kit too!

mmmmmmmmmm....

Sorry - having a really shitty week at the moment.

Lost my job at fivestar and I'm a bit grumpy about it!
Actually I am really upset about it cause I have always managed to work for complete idiots and I love working here. Great people and customers and I'm good at what I do.
Unfortunatley they have decided it was about time to put someone on full time and dissolve the job share position!
Jess needs me after school and it would break my heart to put her into OSHC everyday. I just cant go full time. So.... I'm nearly unemployed! They are interviewing at the moment so I might have 2 weeks or 2 months. NOT HAPPY JAN!!! Anyways - the lovely Dave in production has given me the option to work in the bindery so that will help pay the bills and starting September, Jane is training me to work in the shop so I should really just suck it up and count my blessings but ..... I'm still really upset.

Winge over --- Insert sympathy in the comments section! :)

RIBBONS!!!!

Oh and look what I got.
It's called a Pull-Ez and it's bloody brilliant. I think I put maybe 300+ ribbons in it!

Thanks Thea!

Quick page

Just finished this page - it photographed really shitty but I love this!

Bazzill Album

Hey there,

Just finished this Bazzill Album. One of mum's friends asked me to make one for her to give to her daughter. The photos are a little out of order but you get the idea. Each page has a quote or poem about daughters or love or friendship. I did a matching card too but figured you didn't need to see that! {the white on the name on the front id the dimensional magic not quite dry yet!}

A few older Pages

Sneak Peeks and babies!

Here is a sneak peek of the Fathers Day class I am doing on September 6th at 1.30pm. Using the new Little Yellow Bicycle papers - it's a gorgeous page using lots of masculine colours.

And this is one of the page from the "Celebrating Friends" class I am doing later in the month. A very cute little book that has so many different elements and is stored in a clear box!

And finally for the moment I had to show you one of the AMAZING pictures that Super Mum Kerry has had done of the twins! Photography by IamMel. Cant wait to scrap these!!!
