A few projects and a trip to Father Christmas

This week has been full of fun!

Tuesday night Jessica performed at her end of year school Christmas concert and did a beautiful job! The weather held off and it was a great night! We had a few people over after the concert for drinks and dessert which was nice then went went off to bed about 10ish. Midnight the fun began! Jess woke up and started vomiting which then continued until 4am! Poor thing felt terrible! I kept her home Wednesday and she was fine - gotta love that gastro bug! She seemed to kick it pretty quickly so fingers crossed it's all over and done with.

Decided to beat the school holiday rush and take her into the Magic Cave in David Jones to visit Father Christmas today. Her cousin Melinda who is nearly 9, joined us with her mum and my mother in law! The girls just beamed with excitement and had so much fun. Father Christmas was fabulous - very chatty and loved talking to the girls!
So here are a few things I have been working on.

This is a gift for Jess' teacher. It's the cutest little birdhouse that will be filled with chocolates! One side of the roof is held down with a little magnet so it can be lifted to access the chocs! What do you think? Does it have class potential?

Then Thursday night I taught this class for Scrap The Boys. I have decided to sell the kits for this one with full written instructions on our new website!
And then these are two pages I taught on Tuesday morning!

So I hope your Christmas preparations are going well and that you are fit and healthy!

Dont forget to pop into the shop to check out the sale too!
