First of all ... here is a sneaky of the "Nats Page" planned for Tuesday June 15th at 10amThis is a nice and bright page and would be perfect for a family photo.
Next is the Cuttlebug class on Saturday June 19th. This is a double masculine page involving lots of embossing and technique. Lots of fun!
Now ... "happy mail" ...... most of you know I generally don't submit my scrapbooking to the magazines for publication because it doesn't really interest me and to be honest, I scrap for myself and my customers .... but in saying that, there is a little thrill seeing your work in a magazine. If something does get accepted to be published, I consider myself lucky and hope that someone can appreciate the time and work put into a project. Over this last 10 days, I have had 7 cards, 2 projects and 5 layouts accepted for publication! The layouts and projects were picked up directly from the Scrapware booth at SIA which was great. The cards were also a combination of projects seen at SIA and stuff I emailed in so I'm pretty happy with myself at the moment! I think I have come to a place where my work in evolving into more and I'm seeing a change in how I am scrapping! My projects are now becoming more and more based on the papers and materials I am given leading to a range of work from rustic and grungy to pretty and soft. So .... keep an eye out for Natalie May layouts and cards in upcoming magazines!
To see some snippets of these projects, pop over to the Scrapware gallery and have a look at all the beautiful work - the Design Team is producing some amazing work at the moment! These are some of my favourites in the gallery at the moment ...
