The horrid heat here in Adelaide has made it almost impossible to do anything. 10 days with temps above 35c has been incredible. Lots of air conditioning and lots of staying inside.
I have been making LOTS of scrappy projects but I still cant show you them!
You see.........I have been accepted as a Design Team Member for my FAVOURITE scrapbooking product - Scrapware! I am soooo very excited because not only is one of my amazing friends Louise on the Design Team too but I adore this company and their products and use them on almost everything that I do so for me ths is a dream come true! I am thrilled. So over the next few weeks I will be able to show off some of my latest creations using Scrapware new release products! YAY!
Thank you to the amazing ladies that have been coming to my classes too! Here are a couple of the pages I have taught recently....
Also, later int he month I am doing a great class making Christmas Cards with the Cuttlebug machine! So here is the sneak peek I promised!
This coming Thursday night I still have a couple of places available in my "Scrap The Boys" class too - starts at 7pm and will be a nice easy class! Call the shop on 08 8277 1298 to book in!
On a sadder note, last week I lost my favourite Uncle. Uncle Geoff passed away while transporting a yacht off the coast of Indonesia. Geoff was fondly known as "Megga" in the Yachting and Sailing Industry and will be sadly missed. Next week we hope to celebrate his life in Port Lincoln. Please read this lovely post about him from The Port Lincoln Yacht Club..
Fair Winds Uncle Geoff
Sunset and evening star,
And one clear call for me,
And may there be no moaning of the bar when I put out to sea,
But such a tide as moving seems asleep.
Too full for sound and foam,
When that which drew from out the boundless deep,
Turns again home.
Twilight and evening bell,
And after that the dark!
And may there be no sadness of farewell when I embark:
For though from out our bourne of time and place,
I hope to see my pilot face to face,
When I have crossed the bar.
