Childhood ...
It took me all day to come up with this photo.
I've been thinking about my childhood a lot in the last 24 hours.
Yesterday my Uncle Jim passed away suddenly on his farm in Arno Bay.
We spent many a weekend and school holidays on the farm with my cousins, playing in the sheds, fishing down on the beach and generally hanging out.
I'm really sad Uncle Jim has gone. He was 68 years old. That's way too young. My heart aches for Aunty Anne.
I couldn't photograph what I really wanted to .... the entrance to their driveway - it has many a memory for me ... so I took this photo of our teddys.
The yellow one is mine - my mum bought it for me shortly after I was born - Ted is 37 years old!
The blue one is Trev's from his childhood - 38 years old!
Both Teds sit on our show cupboard behind our bedroom door.
Oh Nat this is just gorgeous ... such a heartfelt post ..... good for you, it is great to share feelings with others .. I am loving this challenge as it gives an insight into people and their lives and how we see each other xoxox
